Hello Reader,

My Black Friday sale kicks off today, and it's a big one: 40% off of CSS Demystified and Beyond CSS.

Being the first non-launch-related sale I've ever done, I figured to make it a big one, so on top of that, I'm also throwing in Flexbox Simplified as a bonus with either one.

The sale runs today, up through the end of the day on December 1st.

As for the two courses that are on sale:

CSS Demystified is for people who've got past the easy parts of CSS and are now feeling either a bit stuck or frustrated by it. It covers the fundamentals that don't get enough attention and that make CSS actually make sense. If you want to start writing CSS with confidence, this is the course for you.

Beyond CSS is my advanced course, focusing on writing code that scales, theming, and more. It's for people who are already comfortable with CSS and are looking to take the next step.

I've been selling courses for 7 years now, and this is the first time that I'm running a Black Friday sale. In fact, this is the first time I've done anything other than a launch sale.

Because of that, I figured I might as well go big, so this is the biggest discount I've ever offered on my courses.

In other words, if you're ready to step up your CSS game, this is the perfect opportunity 😊.

For those of you living in regions with weaker purchasing power, I do offer PPP as well. For the PPP pricing, there is a coupon banner at the top of the page for your region. You'll have to turn off your VPN for it to appear.

If you'd like to learn more about either one of them, or are ready to take advantage of the deal, here are those links again:

Also, if you have any questions at all, hit reply and ask away, and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can!

Kevin

P.S. I'm going to be sending several Black Friday emails during the sale. I know lots of others are doing the same, and you might not be interested. If you'd like, you can opt-out of these Black Friday emails and stay on my regular list.

If you no longer want to get any emails from me, you can unsubscribe or you can edit your preferences if you'd like pick which emails you get from me.

View this email in your browser (or share it with a friend!) Hello Reader, The shorter summer edition of the newsletter continues as I’m in the middle of some travels with my family. Still have some content being put out, though! 🙋♂️ What I’ve been up to this week The most fun I’ve had with CSS in a while thanks to offset-path Eric Meyer’s talk at CSS Day was about offset-path, and it made me realize that I didn’t realize how easy it was to use! I thought we had to use it with SVGs, but it...

View this email in your browser (or share it with a friend!) Hello Reader, A few months ago, I pitted the F1 team websites against each other, and I thought it would be fun to make a landing page for a fictional team that could at least challenge the few teams who’d done a good job with theirs. I was pretty happy with what I’d come up with, but just as I was putting the finishing touches on it, Jason Lengstorf, of Learn with Jason and Leet Heat fame, reached out to let me know about a...

View this email in your browser (or share it with a friend!) Hello Reader, From my experience, there are a few reasons people push back on new things, but the most common one I see revolves around people preferring the old way of doing things. This makes sense, because they are comfortable with what they are used to, rather than the new way, which is different. When something new comes along, that means they have to learn it, which for a lot of people means that it’s slower. The thing is, in...
